Crystal brights for spring…

I am a firm believer in adding a pop of color to every look, whether it be an actual article of clothing or an accessory. That is why I was so thrilled to see brights on the runways for spring/summer 2014! There is something about a colorful outfit that always makes me smile. Recently I have gotten into color therapy and learned that colors aren’t only nice to look at, but along with crystals, they can also be extremely healing. I am around crystals all of the time and I thought it would be fun to match spring brights to some of my favorite crystals. Below are some of my favorite colors and pieces for spring inspired by natures colorful crystals.

Green: brings compassion, peace, and friendliness. Green Calcite promotes positivity, calms the mind, and brings balance.

Indigo: calming, healing, and strengthening. Lapis Lazuli bonds relationships, aids in expressing feelings, and releases stress, bringing in deep peace.

Purple: cleansing, new beginnings, and inspiring. Amethyst is extremely protective, encourages inner peace, and promotes restful sleep.

Coral (orange and red): love, joy, and wisdom. Carnelian promotes transformation, confidence and passion.
